Reports coming in is that one of Nigeria's very own, Burna boy is in trouble with the Nigerian police force. He has been invited to the police station following an intel that he was tipped off by armed robbers as the mastermind of a robbery attack in Lagos. The armed robbers had been caught after they attacked another Nigerian artiste, Mr. 2kay in his lodge at the Eko Hotels and Suite.
According to the words of Mr. 2kay, he was in his room, 847, at the Eko Hotels when a knock at the door claimed to be room service, only to turn out to be a gang of robbers, when he opened the door. There was no report of him being mobbed, but was stripped of jewelries and valuables, amounting up to 11 million.
After, a brief investigations of personnel and cameras of the hotel, the suspects were caught, and they claimed to have been sent by Burna Boy and his manager. "We received a part payment of 50k at first and later got the remaining payment after the job was done".
Burna boy's manager, Joel Kantiock was apprehended soon enough, but Burna Boy was found missing at his apartment.
The police commisioner of Lagos state, Imohimi Edgal had a few things to say "I use this medium to implore Burna Boy to make a report to the nearest police station, as all effort to apprehend him at his Lekki residence has proved abortive."
Burna boy is still on the run, but his manager after interrogation is still claiming innocence.
This is an indication to the shady activities that is surely have been imbued in the Nigerian Music Industry, some weeks ago, it was the Davido case we were thrashing, now its Burna Boy, who's next?
