DONE DEAL? HAZARD IS SET TO SIGN FOR REAL MADRID IN FEW DAYS TIME (REPORTS)- SEE THE AMOUNT CHELSEA WANT TO SELL HIM

According to reports in Marca, Chelsea forward Eden Hazard is set to sign for Real Madrid and his move to Los Blancos will be sealed in the coming days. The three parties – Chelsea, Madrid and the player himself – are close to reaching a total agreement and the Belgium international will soon travel to Madrid, where he will stay for the next six seasons. Madrid, who have been been hotly pursuing the Chelsea star for years after shining on a consistent basis in the Premier League, are still looking to replace club legend Cristiano Ronaldo with a stellar signing.

However, the winger has less than 15 months to run on his existing deal in west London and has intimated he does not want to sign an extension, despite Chelsea offering him around £300,000-a-week.

As MARCA has reported, Zinedine Zidane gave his approval for the transfer last week after taking into consideration the needs of Madrid’s current squad. The Frenchman is fond of Hazard’s skills, including his pace and speed, all characteristics that the current side lack. Madrid first approached the Blues last summer as they looked to acquire the 28-year-old, but Chelsea asked for 200 million euros and Los Blancos withdrew their interest.

There are also reports that Hazard, who is gearing up for Chelsea’s Premier League encounter at home to West Ham on Monday night, is ready to travel to Madrid to explore potential homes in the Spanish capital.

Chelsea slapped a £100million price tag on Hazard last summer and it’s likely they’ve demanded a similar fee this time around, despite Hazard’s contract having just one year remaining.

Zidane believes the tricky winger can have a huge impact on Madrid’s fortunes as they look to topple Barcelona once again and fight for the Champions League title next season. Hazard has enjoyed yet another fine season and has continued to scare defences both in the English top flight and the Europa League. Hazard has netted 14 goals and provided his Chelsea team-mates with 12 assists in 31 Premier League games.

And Maurizio Sarri will be hoping that Hazard continues his formidable form for the run-in as they aim to secure a Champions League spot for next season. The Blues currently sit fifth, one point adrift of the top four, and face Slavia Prague in the quarter-finals of the Europa League. Asked about Hazard on Friday, Zidane refused to rule out a move.

‘I will not give my personal opinion about what may happen because the season has not ended, but I’ve always appreciated him,’ said Zidane. ‘I’ve seen him a lot since I was playing in France. He’s fantastic.’”I haven’t decided who I want to leave [Real Madrid] and who I want to stay.”
